Plentake v3.2.0 - install guide (Windows)
===============================================

New to Plentake? Watch the overview video: https://youtu.be/OJzPAkmmT1k
(or double-click Watch-the-overview.url in this folder)

Requirements
  - Adobe Premiere Pro on Windows 10 or 11

Prefer to watch? Open How-to-install.mp4 (a short video) or
Install-Guide.pdf (step by step, with pictures) in this folder.

Install
  1. Unzip this folder somewhere (Desktop is fine). Keep all files together.
  2. Quit Adobe Premiere Pro completely.
  3. Double-click  Install-Plentake-Win.bat

     Windows may show a blue "Windows protected your PC" box because this
     installer was downloaded from the internet. Click "More info", then
     "Run anyway". You can read the whole script in Notepad first - it only
     unpacks the panel into your own AppData folder.

  4. Start Premiere Pro and open: Window > Extensions > Plentake
  5. Click the Account button on the left side of the panel and sign in. The AI tools run through your account;
     you never enter an API key.

What the installer does
  - Copies the panel to:
      %APPDATA%\Adobe\CEP\extensions\Plentake
  - Removes any older copy of Plentake from that folder first, whatever
    its folder name (for example one installed with ZXP Installer).
  - Sets PlayerDebugMode=1 under HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Software\Adobe\CSXS.9-13
    so Premiere will load the panel. This affects only your user account.
  - No administrator rights. Nothing outside your user profile is touched.

Uninstall
  Double-click  Uninstall-Plentake-Win.bat
  (it also finds copies installed under another folder name; or just
  delete %APPDATA%\Adobe\CEP\extensions\Plentake)
